Clip my wings
Bring me down
Ground me on the ground.
Fell my branches
Shave me, stunt me
Stump me on the ground.
Grind me, grind me
Ground me down
Scatter me around.
Ground, ground
Hold me down
Plant me in the ground.
Succour, succour
Cradle me
Growing
from the ground.
Base me, grace me
Straight and tall
Erect upon the ground.
Pile me, pile me
Stone on stone
Edificial sound.
Dance, dance
Around my pole
Sacrificial round.
Sing, sing,
Praise my name
Awe inspiring sound.
Lift me, lift me,
Raise me up
Elevated, found.
